Luke 13:14-16

14But ethe ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus fhad healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, g“There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” 15Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! hDoes not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? 16And ought not this woman, ia daughter of Abraham whom jSatan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?”

John 7:23

23If on the Sabbath a man receives circumcision, so that the law of Moses may not be broken, kare you angry with me because on the Sabbath I made a man’s whole body well?
