Matthew 12:10-13

10 And a man was there with a withered hand. And they asked him, ^a“Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”— ^bso that they might accuse him. 11 He said to them, “Which one of you who has a sheep, ^cif it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out? 12 ^dOf how much more value is a man than a sheep! So ^eit is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” 13 Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And ^fthe man stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy like the other.

A Man with a Withered Hand

1 ^gAgain ^hhe entered the synagogue, and a man was there with a withered hand. 2 And ⁱthey watched Jesus, ^{▼▼Greek him} to see whether he would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse him. 3 And he said to the man with the withered hand, “Come here.” 4 And he said to them, ^k“Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to kill?” But they were silent. 5 And he ^llooked around at them with anger, grieved at ^mtheir hardness of heart, and said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” ⁿHe stretched it out, and his hand was restored.
