25 ^aKnowing their thoughts, ^bhe said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand.

Revelation of John 17:12-17

12 And ^cthe ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings ^dfor one hour, together with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast. 14 They ^ewill make war on the Lamb, and ^fthe Lamb will conquer them, for he is ^gLord of lords and ^hKing of kings, and those with him are ⁱcalled and chosen and faithful.”

15 And the angel ^{▼▼Greek he} said to me, ^k“The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages. 16 And ^lthe ten horns that you saw, they and the beast ^mwill hate the prostitute. They will make her ⁿdesolate and ^onaked, and ^pdevour her flesh and ^qburn her up with fire, 17 for ^rGod has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and ^shanding over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.
