Matthew 12:43-45

Return of an Unclean Spirit

43When athe unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through bwaterless places seeking rest, but finds none. 44Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. 45Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and cthe last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this devil generation.”

Hebrews 6:4-8

4For it is impossible, in the case of those hwho have once been enlightened, who have tasted ithe heavenly gift, and jhave shared in the Holy Spirit, 5and khave tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6and lthen have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since mthey are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt. 7For nland that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God. 8But oif it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed, pand its end is to be burned.

Hebrews 10:26-27

26For qif we go on sinning deliberately rafter receiving the knowledge of the truth, sthere no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 tbut a fearful expectation of judgment, and ua fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.
