Matthew 12:7

7 And if you had known ^awhat this means, ^b‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the guiltless.

Hebrews 10:5-12

5 Consequently, ^cwhen Christ ^{▼▼Greek he} came into the world, he said,

^e“Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired,
but a body have you prepared for me;
6 in burnt offerings and sin offerings
