Luke 13:15-16

15Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! dDoes not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? 16And ought not this woman, ea daughter of Abraham whom fSatan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?”

John 5:9-11

9 gAnd at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.

The Greek word Ioudaioi refers specifically here to Jewish religious leaders, and others under their influence, who opposed Jesus in that time; also verses 15, 16, 18
said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and jit is not lawful for you to take up your bed.”
11But he answered them, “The man who healed me, that man said to me, Take up your bed, and walk.’

John 5:17

17But Jesus answered them, My Father is working until now, and I am working.”

John 9:5-11

5As long as I am in the world, kI am the light of the world.” 6Having said these things, lhe spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. mThen he anointed the man’s eyes with the mud 7and said to him, Go, wash in nthe pool of Siloam (which means Sent). So he went and washed and ocame back seeing.

8The neighbors and those who had seen him before as a beggar were saying, pIs this not the man who used to sit and beg?” 9Some said, “It is he.” Others said, “No, but he is like him.” He kept saying, “I am the man.” 10So they said to him, “Then how were your eyes opened?” 11He answered, q“The man called Jesus made mud and anointed my eyes and said to me, Go to Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed and received my sight.”

John 9:14

14 rNow it was a Sabbath day when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.

John 9:16

16Some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not sfrom God, tfor he does not keep the Sabbath.” But others said, uHow can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” And vthere was a division among them.
