Matthew 13:26-30

26So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. 27And the servants

of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’
28He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ 29But he said, bNo, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, " cGather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn."’”

Matthew 22:9-10

9Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’ 10And those servants went out into the roads and dgathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.

Acts 5:1-10

Ananias and Sapphira

1But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, 2and with his wife’s knowledge phe kept back for himself some of the proceeds and brought only a part of it and qlaid it at the apostlesfeet. 3But Peter said, “Ananias, why has rSatan filled your heart to lie sto the Holy Spirit and tto keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? 4While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but uto God.” 5When Ananias heard these words, he vfell down and breathed his last. And wgreat fear came upon all who heard of it. 6The young men rose and xwrapped him up and carried him out and buried him.

7After an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8And Peter said to her, “Tell me whether you

sold the land for so much.” And she said, “Yes, for so much.”
9But Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together zto test aathe Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” 10Immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.
