Matthew 13:41-42

41 ^aThe Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all ^bcauses of sin and ^call law-breakers, 42 ^dand throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place ^ethere will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13:49-50

49 So it will be at ^fthe end of the age. The angels will come out and ^gseparate the evil from the righteous 50 ^hand throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place ⁱthere will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Acts 12:23

23 Immediately ^jan angel of the Lord struck him down, because ^khe did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last.

Revelation of John 16:1-12

The Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath

1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling ^vthe seven angels, “Go and ^wpour out on the earth ^xthe seven bowls of the wrath of God.”

2 So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful ^ysores came upon the people who bore ^zthe mark of the beast and worshiped its image.

3 The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and ^aait became like the blood of a corpse, and ^abevery living thing died that was in the sea.

4 The third angel poured out his bowl into ^acthe rivers and the springs of water, and ^adthey became blood. 5 And I heard the angel in charge of the waters ^{▼▼Greek angel of the waters} say,

^af“Just are you, ^agO Holy One, ^ahwho is and who was,
for you brought these judgments.
6 For ^aithey have shed the blood of ^ajsaints and prophets,
and ^akyou have given them blood to drink.
It is what they deserve!”
7 And I heard ^althe altar saying,

“Yes, Lord God the Almighty,
^amtrue and just are your judgments!”
8 The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people ^anwith fire. 9 They were scorched by the fierce heat, and ^aothey cursed ^{▼▼Greek blasphemed; also verses 11, 21} the name of God who had power over these plagues. ^aqThey did not repent ^arand give him glory.

10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on ^asthe throne of the beast, and ^atits kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish 11 and cursed ^authe God of heaven for their pain and ^avsores. ^awThey did not repent of their deeds.

12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on ^axthe great river Euphrates, and ^ayits water was dried up, ^azto prepare the way for the kings ^bafrom the east.
