41 aThe Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all bcauses of sin and call law-breakers, 42 dand throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place ethere will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath

1Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling othe seven angels, “Go and ppour out on the earth qthe seven bowls of the wrath of God.”

2So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful rsores came upon the people who bore sthe mark of the beast and worshiped its image.

3The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and tit became like the blood of a corpse, and uevery living thing died that was in the sea.

4The third angel poured out his bowl into vthe rivers and the springs of water, and wthey became blood. 5And I heard the angel in charge of the waters

for you brought these judgments.

8The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people agwith fire. 9They were scorched by the fierce heat, and ahthey cursed

the name of God who had power over these plagues. ajThey did not repent akand give him glory.

10The fifth angel poured out his bowl on althe throne of the beast, and amits kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish 11and cursed anthe God of heaven for their pain and aosores. apThey did not repent of their deeds.

12The sixth angel poured out his bowl on aqthe great river Euphrates, and arits water was dried up, asto prepare the way for the kings atfrom the east. 13And I saw, coming out of the mouth of authe dragon and out of the mouth of avthe beast and out of the mouth of awthe false prophet, three axunclean spirits like ayfrogs. 14For they are azdemonic spirits, baperforming signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, bbto assemble them for battle on bcthe great day of God the Almighty. 15(“Behold, bdI am coming like a thief! beBlessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, bfthat he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”) 16And bgthey assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called bhArmageddon.

The Seventh Bowl

17The seventh angel poured out his bowl into bithe air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, bj“It is done!”
