man, the one who had had ithe legion, sitting there, jclothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid. 16And those who had seen it described to them what had happened to the demon-possessed man and to the pigs. 17And kthey began to beg Jesus ▼▼Greek him
to depart from their region. 18As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed with demons begged him that he might be with him. 19And he did not permit him but said to him, “Go home to your friends and mtell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” 20And he went away and began to proclaim in nthe Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marveled. John 9:8-9
8The neighbors and those who had seen him before as a beggar were saying, o“Is this not the man who used to sit and beg?” 9Some said, “It is he.” Others said, “No, but he is like him.” He kept saying, “I am the man.”Acts 3:10
10and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
