Matthew 14:13

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand

13Now when Jesus heard this, ahe withdrew from there in a boat to a desolate place by himself. But when the crowds heard it, they followed him on foot from the towns.

Romans 4:18-25

18In hope he believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been told, bSo shall your offspring be.” 19He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was cas good as dead ( dsince he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered ethe barrenness
Greek deadness
of Sarah’s womb.
20No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, 21fully convinced that gGod was able to do what he had promised. 22That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.” 23But hthe words “it was counted to him” were not written for his sake alone, 24but for ours also. It will be counted to us iwho believe in jhim who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, 25 kwho was delivered up for our trespasses and raised lfor our justification.

Hebrews 11:17-19

17By faith mAbraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son, 18of whom it was said, nThrough Isaac shall your offspring be named.” 19 oHe considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.

James 1:5-6

5 pIf any of you lacks wisdom, qlet him ask God, rwho gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. 6But slet him ask in faith, twith no doubting, for the one who doubts is like ua wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
