Matthew 16:17-19

17 And Jesus answered him, ^a“Blessed are you, ^bSimon Bar-Jonah! For ^cflesh and blood has not revealed this to you, ^dbut my Father who is in heaven. 18 And I tell you, ^eyou are Peter, and ^fon this rock ^{▼▼The Greek words for Peter and rock sound similar} I will build my church, and ^hthe gates of ⁱhell ^{▼▼Greek the gates of Hades} shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give you ^kthe keys of the kingdom of heaven, and ^lwhatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed ^{▼▼Or shall have been bound . . . shall have been loosed} in heaven.”
