Matthew 16:18

18And I tell you, ayou are Peter, and bon this rock
The Greek words for  Peter and  rock sound similar
I will build my church, and dthe gates of ehell
Greek  the gates of Hades
shall not prevail against it.

1 Corinthians 3:9-17

9For we are gGod’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, hGod’s building.

10 iAccording to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a jfoundation, and ksomeone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. 11For no one can lay a lfoundation other mthan that which is laid, nwhich is Jesus Christ. 12Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw 13 oeach one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed pby fire, and qthe fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, rhe will receive a reward. 15If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, sbut only as through fire.

16 tDo you not know that you
The Greek for  you is plural in verses 16 and 17
are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
17If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For vGod’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.

2 Corinthians 6:16-17

16What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For wwe are the temple of the living God; as God said,

x“I will make my dwelling among them and ywalk among them,
and zI will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
17Therefore aago out from their midst,
and be separate from them, says the Lord,
and touch no unclean thing;
then I will welcome you,

Ephesians 2:19-22

19So then you are no longer abstrangers and aliens,
Or sojourners
but you are adfellow citizens with the saints and aemembers of the household of God,
20 afbuilt on the foundation of the agapostles and prophets, ahChrist Jesus himself being aithe cornerstone, 21 ajin whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into aka holy temple in the Lord. 22In him alyou also are being built together aminto a dwelling place for God by
Or in
the Spirit.

1 Timothy 3:15

15if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.

Hebrews 3:3-6

3For Jesus has been counted worthy of more glory than Mosesas much more glory as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself. 4(For every house is built by someone, but aothe builder of all things is God.) 5 apNow Moses was faithful in all God’s house aqas a servant, arto testify to the things that were to be spoken later, 6but Christ is faithful over God’s house as asa son. And atwe are his house, if indeed we auhold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope.
