Matthew 16:22

22 And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, “Far be it from you, Lord! ^{▼▼Or “[May God be] merciful to you, Lord!”} This shall never happen to you.”

Mark 9:32

32 ^bBut they did not understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him.

Luke 18:33-34

33 And after flogging him, they will kill him, and on ^cthe third day he will rise.” 34 ^dBut they understood none of these things. ^eThis saying was hidden from them, and they did not grasp what was said.

Luke 24:25-27

John 2:19-22

John 12:33-34

33 He said this ^uto show by what kind of death he was going to die. 34 So the crowd answered him, “We have heard from the Law that ^vthe Christ remains forever. How can you say that ^wthe Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”
