Signs of the End of the Age

The Lesson of the Fig Tree

No One Knows That Day or Hour

For you do not know when the time will come.
34 amIt is like a man angoing on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants
Greek bondservants
in charge, apeach with his work, and commands aqthe doorkeeper to stay awake.
35 arTherefore stay awakefor you do not know when the master of the house will come, asin the evening, or atat midnight, or auwhen the rooster crows,
That is, the third watch of the night, between midnight and 3 a.m.
or awin the morning
36lest axhe come suddenly and ayfind you asleep. 37And what I say to you I say to all: azStay awake.”
