1 Corinthians 4:9-13

9For I think that God has exhibited us apostles as last of all, ilike men sentenced to death, because we jhave become a spectacle to the world, to angels, and to men. 10 kWe are fools for Christ’s sake, but lyou are wise in Christ. mWe are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honor, but we in disrepute. 11To the present hour nwe hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and obuffeted and phomeless, 12and we qlabor, working with our own hands. rWhen reviled, we bless; swhen persecuted, we endure; 13when slandered, we entreat. tWe have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, uthe refuse of all things.

2 Corinthians 11:23-27

23Are they vservants of Christ? wI am a better one—I am talking like a madmanwith far greater labors, xfar more imprisonments, ywith countless beatings, and zoften near death. 24Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the aaforty lashes less one. 25Three times I was abbeaten with rods. acOnce I was stoned. Three times I adwas shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea; 26on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, aedanger from my own people, afdanger from Gentiles, agdanger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers; 27 ahin toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, aiin hunger and thirst, often without food,
Or  often in fasting
in cold and exposure.

Philippians 3:7

7But akwhatever gain I had, alI counted as loss for the sake of Christ.
