Matthew 2:2-4

2 saying, “Where is he who has been born ^aking of the Jews? For we saw ^bhis star when it rose ^{▼▼Or in the east; also verse 9} and have come to ^dworship him.” 3 When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him; 4 and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where ^ethe Christ was to be born.

Matthew 17:10-12

10 And the disciples asked him, “Then why do the scribes say ^fthat first Elijah must come?” 11 He answered, “Elijah does come, and ^ghe will restore all things. 12 But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but ^hdid to him whatever they pleased. ⁱSo also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands.”
