Jesus Heals Two Blind Men

29 aAnd as they went out of Jericho, a great crowd followed him. 30And behold, there were two blind men sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord,

31The crowd drebuked them, telling them to be silent, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” 32And stopping, Jesus called them and said, What do you want me to do for you?” 33They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.” 34And Jesus in pity touched their eyes, and immediately they recovered their sight and followed him.

Jesus Heals Blind Bartimaeus

46 eAnd they came to Jericho. And fas he was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a great crowd, Bartimaeus, ga blind beggar, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the roadside. 47And when he heard that it was hJesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48And many irebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49And Jesus stopped and said, Call him.” And they called the blind man, saying to him, j“Take heart. Get up; he is calling you.” 50And throwing off his kcloak, he sprang up and came to Jesus. 51And Jesus said to him, lWhat do you want me to do for you?” And the blind man said to him, mRabbi, let me recover my sight.” 52And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; nyour faith has omade you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.
