31 Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, ^athe tax collectors and ^bthe prostitutes go into ^cthe kingdom of God before you. 32 For John came to you ^din the way of righteousness, and ^eyou did not believe him, but ^fthe tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. And even when you saw it, you did not afterward ^gchange your minds and believe him.

Luke 11:52

52 Woe to you ^hlawyers! ⁱFor you have taken away the key of ^jknowledge. You ^kdid not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.”

John 7:46-52
