Matthew 21:35-39

35 aAnd the tenants took his servants and beat one, killed another, and bstoned another. 36 cAgain he sent other servants, more than the first. And they did the same to them. 37Finally he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 38But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, dThis is the heir. Come, elet us kill him and have his inheritance.’ 39And they took him and fthrew him out of the vineyard and killed him.

Matthew 22:6

Matthew 23:31-35

31Thus you witness against yourselves that you are isons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 jFill up, then, the measure of your fathers. 33You serpents, kyou brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to lhell? 34 mTherefore nI send you oprophets and wise men and pscribes, qsome of whom you will kill and crucify, and rsome you will sflog in your synagogues and tpersecute from town to town, 35so that on you may come all uthe righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous vAbel to the blood of wZechariah the son of Barachiah,

Matthew 26:3-4

3 aaThen the chief priests and the elders of the people gathered in abthe palace of the high priest, whose name was acCaiaphas, 4 adand plotted together in order to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill him.

Matthew 26:59-66

afwere seeking false testimony against Jesus that they might put him to death,
60but they found none, agthough many false witnesses came forward. At last ahtwo came forward 61and said, “This man said, ai‘I am able to ajdestroy the temple of God, and to rebuild it in three days.’” 62And the high priest stood up and said, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?”
Or Have you no answer to what these men testify against you?
63 alBut Jesus remained silent. amAnd the high priest said to him, an“I adjure you by aothe living God, aptell us if you are aqthe Christ, arthe Son of God.” 64Jesus said to him, asYou have said so. But I tell you, from now on atyou will see the Son of Man auseated at the right hand of Power and avcoming on the clouds of heaven.” 65Then the high priest awtore his robes and said, ax“He has uttered blasphemy. What further witnesses do we need? You have now heard his blasphemy. 66What is your judgment?” They answered, ay“He deserves death.”
