Matthew 21:35-41

35 aAnd the tenants took his servants and beat one, killed another, and bstoned another. 36 cAgain he sent other servants, more than the first. And they did the same to them. 37Finally he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 38But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, dThis is the heir. Come, elet us kill him and have his inheritance.’ 39And they took him and fthrew him out of the vineyard and killed him. 40 gWhen therefore the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?” 41They said to him, h“He will put those wretches to a miserable death and ilet out the vineyard to other tenants who will give him the fruits in their seasons.”

Matthew 22:6-7

6while the rest seized his servants, jtreated them shamefully, and kkilled them. 7The king was angry, and he sent his troops and ldestroyed those murderers and burned their city.

Matthew 23:31-33

31Thus you witness against yourselves that you are msons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 nFill up, then, the measure of your fathers. 33You serpents, oyou brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to phell?

1 Thessalonians 2:15-16
