38But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, a‘This is the heir. Come, blet us kill him and have his inheritance.’ 39And they took him and cthrew him out of the vineyard and killed him. 40 dWhen therefore the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?” 41They said to him, e“He will put those wretches to a miserable death and flet out the vineyard to other tenants who will give him the fruits in their seasons.”42Jesus said to them, g“Have you never read in the Scriptures:

has become the cornerstone; ▼

this was the Lord’s doing,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’?

Jesus Weeps over Jerusalem
