Matthew 21:41-43

41They said to him, a“He will put those wretches to a miserable death and blet out the vineyard to other tenants who will give him the fruits in their seasons.”

42Jesus said to them, c“Have you never read in the Scriptures:

d“‘The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
Greek  the head of the corner

this was the Lord’s doing,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’?
43Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God fwill be taken away from you and given to a people gproducing its fruits.

Romans 3:29-30

29Or his God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, 30since iGod is onewho will justify the circumcised by faith and jthe uncircumcised through faith.

Romans 4:11

11 kHe received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. The purpose was lto make him the father of all who believe without being circumcised, so that righteousness would be counted to them as well,

11So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather, through their trespass msalvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous.

Christ the Hope of Jews and Gentiles

8For I tell you that Christ nbecame a servant to the circumcised to show God’s truthfulness, in order oto confirm the promises given to the patriarchs, 9and in order pthat the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,

qTherefore I will praise you among the Gentiles,
and sing to your name.”
10And again it is said,

rRejoice, O Gentiles, with his people.”
11And again,

sPraise the Lord, all you Gentiles,
and let all the peoples extol him.”
12And again Isaiah says,

t, u“The root of Jesse will come,
even he who arises to rule the Gentiles;
vin him will the Gentiles hope.”
13May the God of hope fill you with all wjoy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Paul the Minister to the Gentiles

14 xI myself am satisfied about you, my brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters; also verse 30
that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with zall knowledge and able to instruct one another.
15But on some points I have written to you very boldly by way of reminder, aabecause of the grace given me by God 16to be aba minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles acin the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that adthe offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
