Lament over Jerusalem

Jesus Weeps over Jerusalem

41 aaAnd when he drew near and saw the city, abhe wept over it, 42saying, acWould that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now adthey are hidden from your eyes. 43For aethe days will come upon you, when your enemies afwill set up a barricade around you and agsurround you and hem you in on every side 44 ahand tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And aithey will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know ajthe time of your akvisitation.”

Luke 20:15-16

15And they althrew him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them? 16 amHe will ancome and destroy those tenants and aogive the vineyard to others.” When they heard this, they said, “Surely not!”
