Matthew 23:13

13But woe ato you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you bshut the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For you cneither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.
Some manuscripts add here (or after verse 12) verse 14: Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses and for a pretense you make long prayers; therefore you will receive the greater condemnation

Acts 6:9-10

9Then some of those who belonged to the synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called), and of the Cyrenians, and of the Alexandrians, and of those from Cilicia and Asia, rose up and disputed with Stephen. 10But ethey could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he was speaking.
