Matthew 23:32-36

32 ^aFill up, then, the measure of your fathers. 33 You serpents, ^byou brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to ^chell? 34 ^dTherefore ^eI send you ^fprophets and wise men and ^gscribes, ^hsome of whom you will kill and crucify, and ⁱsome you will ^jflog in your synagogues and ^kpersecute from town to town, 35 so that on you may come all ^lthe righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous ^mAbel to the blood of ⁿZechariah the son of Barachiah, ^{▼▼Some manuscripts omit the son of Barachiah} whom you murdered between ^pthe sanctuary and ^qthe altar. 36 Truly, I say to you, ^rall these things will come upon this generation.

Acts 7:52

52 ^sWhich of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who announced beforehand the coming of ^tthe Righteous One, ^uwhom you have now betrayed and murdered,

Acts 7:58-60

58 Then ^vthey cast him out of the city and ^wstoned him. James 5:6
