Matthew 25:3-4

3 For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.

8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’

Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 The poor man died and was carried by ^fthe angels ^gto Abraham’s side. ^{▼▼Greek bosom; also verse 23} The rich man also died and was buried, 23 and in ⁱHades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and ^jsaw Abraham far off and Lazarus ^kat his side. 24 And he called out, ^l‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and ^mcool my tongue, for ⁿI am in anguish in this flame.’ 25 But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that ^oyou in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.
