25Truly, truly, I say to you, wan hour is coming, and is now here, when xthe dead will hear ythe voice of the Son of God, and those who hear zwill live. 26 aaFor as the Father has life in himself, abso he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27And he achas given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. 28Do not marvel at this, for adan hour is coming when aeall who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29and come out, afthose who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

Judgment Before the Great White Throne

11Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence akearth and sky fled away, and alno place was found for them. 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and ambooks were opened. Then another book was opened, which is anthe book of life. And aothe dead were judged by what was written in the books, apaccording to what they had done. 13And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, aqDeath and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, araccording to what they had done. 14Then asDeath and Hades atwere thrown into the lake of fire. This is authe second death, the lake of fire. 15And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, avhe was thrown into the lake of fire.
