31 ^a“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, ^bthen he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 Before him ^cwill be gathered ^dall the nations, and ^ehe will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates ^fthe sheep from the goats. 33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. 34 Then ^gthe King will say to ^hthose on his right, ‘Come, you ⁱwho are blessed by my Father, ^jinherit ^kthe kingdom ^lprepared for you ^mfrom the foundation of the world. 35 For ⁿI was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you ^ogave me drink, ^pI was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 ^qI was naked and you clothed me, ^rI was sick and you ^svisited me, ^tI was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And ^uthe King will answer them, ^v‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these ^wmy brothers, ^{▼▼Or brothers and sisters} you did it to me.’

John 5:22-30

22 ^yFor the Father judges no one, but ^zhas given all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son, just as they ^aahonor the Father. ^abWhoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, ^acwhoever hears my word and ^adbelieves him who sent me has eternal life. He ^aedoes not come into judgment, but ^afhas passed from death to life.

25 “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^agan hour is coming, and is now here, when ^ahthe dead will hear ^aithe voice of the Son of God, and those who hear ^ajwill live. 26 ^akFor as the Father has life in himself, ^also he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27 And he ^amhas given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. 28 Do not marvel at this, for ^anan hour is coming when ^aoall who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, ^apthose who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.
