Judas to Betray Jesus
14 aThen one of the twelve, whose name was bJudas Iscariot, went to the chief priests 15and said, “What will you give me if I deliver him over to you?” And they cpaid him dthirty pieces of silver. 16And from that moment he sought an opportunity eto betray him.Matthew 27:3-5
Judas Hangs Himself
3Then when fJudas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus ▼▼Greek he
was condemned, hhe changed his mind and brought back ithe thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders, 4saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” They said, “What is that to us? jSee to it yourself.” 5And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, khe departed, and he went and hanged himself. John 6:70-71
