21And as they were eating, ahe said, Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.” 22And they were very sorrowful and began to say to him one after another, “Is it I, Lord?” 23He answered, b“He who has dipped his hand in the dish with me will betray me. 24The Son of Man goes cas it is written of him, but dwoe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! eIt would have been better for that man if he had not been born.” 25Judas, who would betray him, answered, “Is it I, fRabbi?” He said to him, gYou have said so.”

1 Timothy 1:19-20

2 Timothy 2:17-18

17and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are nHymenaeus and Philetus, 18who have swerved from the truth, osaying that the resurrection has already happened. They are upsetting the faith of some.

False Prophets and Teachers

1But ufalse prophets also arose among the people, vjust as there will be false teachers among you, who will wsecretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master xwho bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth ywill be blasphemed. 3And zin their greed they will exploit you aawith false words. abTheir condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

1 John 2:19

19 acThey went out from us, but they were not of us; for adif they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, aethat it might become plain that they all are not of us.
