Romans 5:15

15But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for fmany.

Romans 5:19

19For as by the one man’s gdisobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s hobedience the many will be made righteous.

Romans 15:8-9

Christ the Hope of Jews and Gentiles

8For I tell you that Christ ibecame a servant to the circumcised to show God’s truthfulness, in order jto confirm the promises given to the patriarchs, 9and in order kthat the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,

lTherefore I will praise you among the Gentiles,
and sing to your name.”

Galatians 3:13-17

13Christ mredeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for usfor it is written, nCursed is everyone who is hanged oon a tree”— 14so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might pcome to the Gentiles, so that qwe might receive rthe promised Spirit
Greek  receive the promise of the Spirit
through faith.

The Law and the Promise

15 tTo give a human example, brothers:
Or  brothers and sisters
veven with a man-made covenant, no one annuls it or adds to it once it has been ratified.
16Now wthe promises were made xto Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, yAnd to your offspring,” who is Christ. 17This is what I mean: the law, which came z430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as aato make the promise void.

Hebrews 6:13-18

The Certainty of God’s Promise

13For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, abhe swore by himself, 14saying, acSurely I will bless you and multiply you.” 15And thus Abraham,
Greek he
aehaving patiently waited, obtained the promise.
16For people swear by something greater than themselves, and in all their disputes afan oath is final for confirmation. 17So when God desired to show more convincingly to agthe heirs of the promise ahthe unchangeable character of his purpose, aihe guaranteed it with an oath, 18so that by two unchangeable things, in which ajit is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope akset before us.

Hebrews 8:8-13

8For he finds fault with them when he says:
Some manuscripts  For finding fault with it he says to them

amBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah,
9not like the covenant that I made with their fathers
on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
For they did not continue in my covenant,
and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.
10 anFor this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws into their minds,
and aowrite them on their hearts,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
11And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor
and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’
for they shall apall know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12For I will be merciful toward their iniquities,
aqand I will remember their sins no more.”
13In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And arwhat is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
