51And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his asword and struck the servant ▼▼Greek bondservant
of the high priest and cut off his ear. 52Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For call who take the sword will perish by the sword. 53 dDo you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me emore than twelve flegions of angels? 54 gBut how then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?” Mark 14:47

of the high priest and cut off his ear. John 18:10-11
10Then Simon Peter, jhaving a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant ▼▼Greek bondservant; twice in this verse
and cut off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.) 11So Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into its sheath; lshall I not drink the cup that the Father has given me?” Romans 12:19
19Beloved, mnever avenge yourselves, but leave it ▼▼Greek give place
to the wrath of God, for it is written, o“Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 10:4
