Jesus Before Caiaphas and the Council

57 aThen bthose who had seized Jesus led him to cCaiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders had gathered. 58And dPeter was following him at a distance, as far as ethe courtyard of the high priest, and going inside he sat with fthe guards to see the end.

Matthew 26:71

71And when he went out to the entrance, another servant girl saw him, and she said to the bystanders, “This man was with Jesus gof Nazareth.”

Matthew 26:73

73After a little while the bystanders came up and said to Peter, “Certainly you too are one of them, for hyour accent betrays you.”

Luke 22:52-54

52Then Jesus said to the chief priests and iofficers of the temple and elders, who had come out against him, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs? 53When jI was with you day after day in the temple, you did not lay hands on me. But this is kyour hour, and lthe power of darkness.”

Peter Denies Jesus

54 mThen they seized him and led him away, bringing him into the high priest’s house, nand Peter was following at a distance.

Luke 22:56-60

56Then a servant girl, seeing him as he sat in the light and looking closely at him, said, “This man also was with him.” 57But he denied it, saying, “Woman, I do not know him.” 58And a little later someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man, I am not.” 59And after an interval of about an hour still another oinsisted, saying, “Certainly this man also was with him, for he too is a Galilean.” 60But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are talking about.” And immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed.

John 18:16-17

16 pbut Peter stood outside at the door. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the servant girl who kept watch at the door, and brought Peter in. 17 qThe servant girl at the door said to Peter, “You also are not one of this man’s disciples, are you?” He said, “I am not.”

John 19:26

26When Jesus saw his mother and rthe disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, sWoman, behold, your son!”
