Matthew 26:70-75

70But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you mean.” 71And when he went out to the entrance, another servant girl saw him, and she said to the bystanders, “This man was with Jesus aof Nazareth.” 72And again he denied it with an oath: “I do not know the man.” 73After a little while the bystanders came up and said to Peter, “Certainly you too are one of them, for byour accent betrays you.” 74Then he began to invoke a curse on himself and to swear, “I do not know the man.” And immediately the rooster crowed. 75And Peter remembered the saying of Jesus, cBefore the rooster crows, you will ddeny me three times.” And he went out and wept bitterly.

Mark 14:30

30And eJesus said to him, Truly, I tell you, this very night, before fthe rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

Mark 14:72

72And immediately the rooster crowed ga second time. And Peter remembered how Jesus had said to him, hBefore the rooster crows twice, you will ideny me three times.” And he broke down and wept.
