28And they stripped him and put aa scarlet robe on him, 29and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before him, they bmocked him, saying, “Hail, cKing of the Jews!”

Mark 15:18-19

18And they began to salute him, dHail, King of the Jews!” 19And they were striking his head with a reed and espitting on him and fkneeling down in homage to him.

John 19:2-3

2 gAnd the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head and arrayed him in a purple robe. 3They came up to him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” and struck him with their hands.

John 19:14-15

14Now it was hthe day of Preparation of the Passover. It was about the sixth hour.
That is, about noon
He said to the Jews, jBehold your King!”
15They cried out, k“Away with him, away with him, crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar.”

1 Peter 2:4-8

4As you come to him, a living stone lrejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, 5 myou yourselves like living stones are being built up as na spiritual house, to be oa holy priesthood, pto offer spiritual sacrifices qacceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6For it stands in Scripture:

rBehold, I am laying in Zion a stone,
a cornerstone chosen and precious,
sand whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”
7So the honor is for you who tbelieve, but for those who udo not believe,

v“The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone,”
Greek  the head of the corner

8and

x“A stone of stumbling,
and a rock of offense.”
They stumble because they disobey the word, yas they were destined to do.
