Matthew 27:28-30

28And they stripped him and put aa scarlet robe on him, 29and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before him, they bmocked him, saying, “Hail, cKing of the Jews!” 30And dthey spit on him and took the reed and struck him on the head.

Mark 14:65

65 eAnd some began fto spit on him and gto cover his face and to strike him, saying to him, “Prophesy!” And the guards received him hwith blows.

17And they clothed him in ia purple cloak, and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on him. 18And they began to salute him, jHail, King of the Jews!” 19And they were striking his head with a reed and kspitting on him and lkneeling down in homage to him. 20And when they had mmocked him, they stripped him of nthe purple cloak and put his own clothes on him. And they oled him out to crucify him.

1Then Pilate took Jesus and qflogged him. 2 rAnd the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head and arrayed him in a purple robe. 3They came up to him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” and struck him with their hands. 4Pilate went out again and said to them, “See, I am bringing him out to you that you may know that sI find no guilt in him.” 5So Jesus came out, wearing tthe crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, uBehold the man!”
