Matthew 27:40

John 3:16-17

For God So Loved the World

16 “For ^dGod so loved ^ethe world, ^{▼▼Or For this is how God loved the world} ^gthat he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not ^hperish but have eternal life. 17 For ⁱGod did not send his Son into the world ^jto condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

John 5:17-25

Jesus Is Equal with God

The Authority of the Son

19 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^pthe Son ^qcan do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father ^{▼▼Greek he} does, that the Son does likewise. 20 For ^sthe Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And ^tgreater works than these will he show him, so that ^uyou may marvel. 21 For as the Father ^vraises the dead and ^wgives them life, so ^xalso the Son gives life ^yto whom he will. 22 ^zFor the Father judges no one, but ^aahas given all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son, just as they ^abhonor the Father. ^acWhoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, ^adwhoever hears my word and ^aebelieves him who sent me has eternal life. He ^afdoes not come into judgment, but ^aghas passed from death to life.

25 “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^ahan hour is coming, and is now here, when ^aithe dead will hear ^ajthe voice of the Son of God, and those who hear ^akwill live.

John 10:30

John 19:7
