45 Now from the sixth hour ^{▼▼That is, noon} there was darkness over all the land ^{▼▼Or earth} until the ninth hour. ^{▼▼That is, 3 p.m.} 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus ^dcried out with a loud voice, saying, ^e“Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
