Matthew 27:63-66

63and said, “Sir, we remember how athat impostor said, while he was still alive, bAfter three days I will rise.’ 64Therefore order the tomb to be made secure until the third day, clest his disciples go and steal him away and tell the people, ‘He has risen from the dead,’ and the last fraud will be worse than the first.” 65Pilate said to them, “You have da guard
Or Take a guard
of soldiers. Go, make it as secure as you can.”
66So they went and made the tomb secure by fsealing the stone and setting a guard.

Matthew 28:12-15

12And when they had assembled with the elders and taken counsel, they gave a sufficient sum of money to the soldiers 13and said, “Tell people, gHis disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ 14And if this comes to hthe governor’s ears, we will isatisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” 15So they took the money and did as they were directed. And this story has been spread among the Jews jto this day.

John 8:59

59So kthey picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.
