8 ^gOwe no one anything, except to love each other, for ^hthe one who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, ⁱ“You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: ^j“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore ^klove is the fulfilling of the law.

Galatians 5:14-24

14 For ^lthe whole law is fulfilled in one word: ^m“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you ⁿbite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another.

Keep in Step with the Spirit

16 But I say, ^owalk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify ^pthe desires of the flesh. 17 For ^qthe desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, ^rto keep you from doing the things you want to do. 18 But if you are ^sled by the Spirit, ^tyou are not under the law. 19 Now ^uthe works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, ^vdivisions, 21 envy, ^{▼▼Some manuscripts add murder} drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that ^xthose who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But ^ythe fruit of the Spirit is ^zlove, joy, peace, patience, ^aakindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 ^abgentleness, ^acself-control; ^adagainst such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus ^aehave crucified the flesh with its ^afpassions and desires.

Philippians 3:17-18

17 Brothers, ^agjoin in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk ^ahaccording to the example you have in us. 18 For ^aimany, of whom I have often told you and now tell you ^ajeven with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ.

Philippians 4:8-9
