Mark 8:31

Jesus Foretells His Death and Resurrection

31 ^cAnd he began to teach them that ^dthe Son of Man must ^esuffer many things and ^fbe rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes and be killed, and ^gafter three days rise again.

Mark 9:9-10

9 ^hAnd as they were coming down the mountain, ⁱhe charged them to tell no one what they had seen, ^juntil the Son of Man had risen from the dead. 10 ^kSo they kept the matter to themselves, ^lquestioning what this rising from the dead might mean.

Mark 9:31-32

31 for he was teaching his disciples, saying to them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill him. And when he is killed, ^mafter three days he will rise.” 32 ⁿBut they did not understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him.
