Mark 16:9-10

Some manuscripts end the book with 16:8; others include verses 9–20 immediately after verse 8. At least one manuscript inserts additional material after verse 14; some manuscripts include after verse 8 the following: But they reported briefly to Peter and those with him all that they had been told. And after this, Jesus himself sent out by means of them, from east to west, the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation. These manuscripts then continue with verses 9–20

Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene

Luke 24:9-11

John 20:1-2

The Resurrection

1 nNow on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that othe stone had been taken away from the tomb. 2So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, pthe one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and qwe do not know where they have laid him.”

John 20:18

18Mary Magdalene rwent and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord”—and that he had said these things to her.
