Matthew 3:10

10Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. aEvery tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Luke 13:7

7And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. bCut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’
