John 1:27

Some interpreters hold that the quotation continues through verse 36


31 vHe who comes from above wis above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and xspeaks in an earthly way. yHe who comes from heaven zis above all.

Acts 13:25

25And as John was finishing his course, aahe said, ‘What do you suppose that I am? I am not he. No, but behold, after me one is coming, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to untie.’
