Matthew 3:11-12

11 aI baptize you with water bfor repentance, but che who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. Leprosy was a term for several skin diseases; see Leviticus 13
are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and nthe poor have good news preached to them.

Matthew 21:25-32

25The baptism of John, ofrom where did it come? pFrom heaven or from man?” And they discussed it among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say to us, qWhy then did you not believe him?’ 26But if we say, ‘From man,’ rwe are afraid of the crowd, for they all hold that John was sa prophet.” 27So they answered Jesus, “We do not know.” And he said to them, Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

The Parable of the Two Sons

John the Baptist Prepares the Way

The Baptism of Jesus

9 ayIn those days Jesus azcame from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10And when he came up out of the water, immediately he basaw bbthe heavens being torn open bcand the Spirit descending on him like a dove. 11And bda voice came from heaven, beYou are my beloved Son;

The Temptation of Jesus
