18But if you are hled by the Spirit, iyou are not under the law. 19Now jthe works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, kdivisions, 21envy,
Some manuscripts add murder
drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that mthose who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22But nthe fruit of the Spirit is olove, joy, peace, patience, pkindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 qgentleness, rself-control; sagainst such things there is no law.

and write them on their minds,”

James 2:8-12

8If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, u“You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well. 9But if you vshow partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point whas become guilty of all of it. 11For he who said, x“Do not commit adultery,” also said, y“Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under zthe law of liberty.
