Matthew 3:9

9 And do not presume to say to yourselves, ^a‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you, God is able from ^bthese stones to raise up children for Abraham.

Luke 3:8

8 Bear fruits ^cin keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ^d‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you, God is able from ^ethese stones to raise up children for Abraham.

Luke 16:30

30 And he said, ‘No, ^ffather Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’

John 8:33-39

33 They answered him, ^g“We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?”

You Are of Your Father the Devil

39 They answered him, ^o“Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, ^p“If you were Abraham’s children, you would be doing the works Abraham did,

John 8:53-56

53 ^qAre you greater than our father Abraham, who died? And the prophets died! Who do you make yourself out to be?” 54 Jesus answered, ^r“If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. ^sIt is my Father who glorifies me, ^tof whom you say, ‘He is our God.’ ^{▼▼Some manuscripts your God} 55 But ^vyou have not known him. ^wI know him. If I were to say that I do not know him, I would be ^xa liar ^ylike you, but I do know him and I keep his word. 56 ^zYour father Abraham ^aarejoiced ^abthat he would see my day. ^acHe saw it and was glad.”

Romans 4:12

12 and to make him the father of the circumcised who are not merely circumcised but who also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

Romans 9:7-8

7 and not all are children of Abraham ^adbecause they are his offspring, but ^ae“Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” 8 This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but ^afthe children of the promise are counted as offspring.
