Matthew 3:9-10

9 And do not presume to say to yourselves, ^a‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you, God is able from ^bthese stones to raise up children for Abraham. 10 Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. ^cEvery tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Matthew 8:11-12

11 I tell you, ^dmany will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, 12 ^ewhile the sons of the kingdom ^fwill be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place ^gthere will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Matthew 19:30

30 But ^hmany who are ⁱfirst will be last, and the last first.
