Matthew 4:2-4

2 And after fasting ^aforty days and forty nights, he ^bwas hungry. 3 And ^cthe tempter came and said to him, “If you are ^dthe Son of God, command ^ethese stones to become loaves of bread.” 4 But he answered, ^f“It is written,

^g“‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Matthew 6:32-33

32 For ^hthe Gentiles seek after all these things, and ⁱyour heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But ^jseek first ^kthe kingdom of God and his righteousness, ^land all these things will be added to you.

John 4:6-8

6 Jacob’s well was there; so Jesus, ^mwearied as he was from his journey, was sitting beside the well. It was about the sixth hour. ^{▼▼That is, about noon}

John 4:30-34

30 They went out of the town and were coming to him.

31 Meanwhile the disciples were urging him, saying, ^p“Rabbi, eat.” 32 But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you do not know about.” 33 So the disciples said to one another, ^q“Has anyone brought him something to eat?” 34 Jesus said to them, ^r“My food is ^sto do the will of him who sent me and ^tto accomplish his work.
